AI-Augmented Civic Media

AI can dramatically expand the civic media capacity of governments, universities, and public-interest organizations.

We apply AI to research, translation, localization, visualization, storytelling, social listening, public consultation, multimedia production, knowledge management, and civic learning while keeping human judgment and responsible governance at the center.

The Civic Media Lab works with partner universities to establish University Civic Media Hubs where faculty and students collaborate with governments, civil society organizations, and communities on real public challenges.
